In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Viveck Vaswani shared that he presented Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan with a five-day stay at a hotel in Mumbai as a post-wedding gift. "Following the wedding, we took Gauri to Darjeeling for the shooting of the title song of Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. Upon their return to Bombay, since they couldn't stay at my residence, I gifted them a five-day stay at Sun n Sand hotel. Later, they moved to Aziz Mirza's house," he recalled. Vaswani also mentioned that Aziz Mirza was among the guests present at the wedding ceremony.

"After the wedding festivities, we whisked Gauri away to Darjeeling for the shooting of the title song of Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman. Upon their return to Bombay, unable to accommodate them at my place, I gifted them a five-day stay at Sun n Sand hotel," Vaswani shared. He also mentioned the presence of Aziz Mirza, another friend and colleague, at the wedding ceremony.
Reflecting on the joyous occasion, Vaswani expressed, "It was a fabulous wedding, everything was very nice. It was so much fun."
He further elaborated on SRK's initial encounter with him during the shoot of Patthar Ke Phool (1991), recalling how the actor's temporary stay turned into a two-year-long companionship.
