Significant Recommendation by Waqar Younis Concerning PSL
Former National Team Fast Bowler and Coach Waqar Younis Provides Key Recommendation to PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi Regarding PSL
Former fast bowler Waqar Younis took to the social networking website Twitter to address PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, advocating for an expansion of the PSL to include 8 teams instead of the current 6.
He expressed that the PSL, being a prominent brand, deserves a larger representation with at least 8 teams by 2025.
Waqar Younis also highlighted the absence of women's matches this year, questioning why there hasn't been any inclusion of such matches compared to the three held in the previous year.
The former fast bowler also recommended to Chairman PCB the establishment of a dedicated channel and infrastructure for Urdu commentary.
It's noteworthy that in PSL 9, Islamabad United clinched the title for the third time, emerging victorious over Multan Sultans.
It's important to mention that PSL consists of 6 teams: Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, and Peshawar Zalmi.
