As the highly anticipated mega event draws closer, ticket prices for the showdown between arch-rivals India and Pakistan have surged, more than doubling in value.
Set to take place on June 9, this clash between India and Pakistan marks a focal point in the tournament, which kicks off on June 2.
Reports indicate that ticket prices for the India-Pakistan match have soared to $2,500 (approximately 696,000 Pakistani Rupees) from their previous rate of $1,300 (approximately 360,000 Pakistani Rupees).
A significant influx of Pakistani and Indian expatriates residing in the US and Canada are eagerly vying for tickets to this highly anticipated encounter. The surge in prices can be attributed to the heightened demand for tickets.
The T20 World Cup is slated to kick off on June 2 at the Grand Prairie Stadium in Texas, featuring an inaugural match between the cricket teams of USA and Canada.
Numerous teams have unveiled their squads for the upcoming tournament, which will see 20 teams competing in a total of 55 matches.
The participating teams have been organized into four groups of five each. From these groups, the top two teams will advance to the Super Eight round.
