Microsoft Alert: Android Users Cautioned About Vulnerabilities in App Withdrawals.
Regarding this issue, the company emphasizes that unidentified hackers can potentially access your phone accounts and "Money App," leading to the theft of your money and other sensitive information.
As per a report from a foreign news agency, Microsoft researchers highlight that Android users need to remain vigilant as hackers can exploit stealth attacks to gain access to your accounts, often without your awareness.
Recent research has unveiled a common security vulnerability in Android apps, leaving them susceptible to data theft, malware, and various other attacks, according to the report.
The Sun's findings underscore that these attacks frequently target Android applications that are shared among multiple users.
The report highlights that well-known apps known as "Dirty Stream" transmit a file to another app, enabling attackers to fabricate a counterfeit app that receives the file without the user's consent or awareness.
Additionally, Microsoft researchers note that four of these apps, although unnamed, have collectively amassed over 500 million downloads.
