California: Google has unveiled two new features aimed at enhancing user convenience, addressing two significant pain points for users. These additions are designed to streamline navigation and address common challenges faced by users on a daily basis.
The first feature addresses the need for EV charging, enabling users to locate nearby charging stations for electric vehicles.
To access this feature, users need to tap on the filter button located beneath the primary search bar at the top of the screen. Additionally, users should navigate to Google Maps settings and register their vehicle as an electric vehicle.
Once activated, this feature will display searched roads in blue on the screen. This enhancement enables users to easily identify the route they are searching for, as Google Maps highlights the starting and ending points of the road in blue.
Earlier in April 2024, Google unveiled features leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) technology, with a focus on aiding users in locating electric vehicle charging points. This additional feature serves as another valuable tool for everyday users.
