Pakistani fast bowler Naseem Shah secured a spot in the top-tier category of the British T20 League, The Hundreds, fetching a significant price tag. Meanwhile, several renowned players found themselves without any team selection.

As per reports from international media outlets, the Pakistani pace sensation immediately caught the attention upon entering the British cricket scene in The Hundred league, securing a place in the most lucrative category.
According to the report, the franchise representatives of eight teams participated in the British League's Hundred draft, where a total of 32 players, both local and international, were selected. Pakistani speedster Naseem Shah found himself drafted by the Birmingham Fancas for a hefty sum of 125 thousand euros (equivalent to approximately 3 crore and 77 lakh Pakistani rupees).

Shaheen Afridi and Haris Rauf, captains of their respective National T20 teams, secured re-selection by Welsh Fire. Shaheen Afridi joined the squad for a staggering one hundred thousand euros (equivalent to over 3 crore 1 lakh Pakistani rupees).
Imad Wasim, instrumental in Islamabad United's PSL title victory, was signed by Trent Rockets for one hundred thousand pounds (over 3.53 million Pakistani rupees). Meanwhile, Osama Mir, the standout bowler of PSL 9, found a spot in the Manchester Original lineup.
Despite their notable achievements, cricketers such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Shadab Khan (captain of PSL 9 champions Islamabad United), Iftikhar Ahmed, Hasan Ali, and former fast bowler Mohammad Amir, who were included in the draft at the eleventh hour, were not courted by any franchise and remained unselected.
Similarly, notable international cricketers including Jason Roy, David Warner, Tim David, and Shakib Al Hasan failed to secure spots in any franchise squad.
A total of 68 Pakistani players were enlisted in the players' draft for the fourth edition of the British T20 League, The Hundred.
It's important to highlight that the fourth edition of The Hundred is scheduled to commence in July, featuring eight men's and women's teams. The inaugural match is set for July 23 at Lord's Cricket Ground, where Birmingham Phoenix will take on Oval Invincibles. The final showdown is slated for August 18.
