Instagram is set to unveil a new feature named 'Blend' to enhance user experience.
The Meta-owned photo and video sharing platform Instagram is gearing up to roll out a new feature dubbed 'Blend', enabling users to personalize their feeds.
With this functionality, when an Instagram user invites a friend to Blend, the platform will curate a feed of Reels tailored to the mutual interests of the user and their friend.
The Blend feed will consist of Reels videos that you and your friends discover intriguing on Instagram, and wish to exchange with one another. This feature will be exclusive to two people, with no external access permitted. Users will have the option to exit the Blend feed at any given time.
Instagram's upcoming feature bears resemblance to Spotify's 2021 addition, which enabled users to save beloved songs to a collaborative playlist. However, this feature on Instagram is currently undergoing testing phases.
