According to cybersecurity experts, cybercriminals are leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to disseminate deceptive information, infiltrate corporate networks, and undermine individuals' cybersecurity defenses. Reports indicate a surge in fraudulent activities, with criminals employing AI to extract sensitive data from customers. Additionally, they are resorting to cloning technology to impersonate friends and relatives, posing as customer service representatives.
Cybersecurity expert Mohammad Saad Jamani shared valuable insights with viewers on safeguarding themselves against such attacks.
He emphasized the significant risk posed by voice cloning in Deepfake technology, which can effectively deceive individuals. He elaborated on the two types of AIs involved: one responsible for generating the voice and the other for discerning its authenticity.
