Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar has stated our efforts towards establishing the presence of renowned social media platforms within Pakistan.
During a press conference in Lahore, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Atta Tarar expressed the government's intention to establish offices for popular social media applications within the country, affirming ongoing efforts to facilitate the opening of offices for X, Facebook, and Tik Tok in Pakistan.
Tarar further announced plans to develop an e-portal encompassing all legislation enacted in Pakistan, alongside the setting of targets for the effective enforcement of these laws.
He emphasized that targets have been set to bolster the export of IT services. Initiatives such as enabling facilities akin to PayPal and implementing measures like Wi-Fi hotspots have been prioritized to achieve these goals.
