According to reports from foreign media, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that his company's commitment to bringing electric vehicles to India is unequivocal and aligns with its vision. The announcement followed news of Tesla seeking a suitable location to establish its factory in the neighboring country.
Reports indicate that both Maharashtra and Gujarat have extended offers of land to Tesla for the establishment of an electric vehicle manufacturing plant. Additionally, the Telangana government is engaging in discussions with Tesla for a similar venture.
Once the plant is established, Tesla intends to invest 2 to 3 billion US dollars in India. Additionally, the production from this facility will be geared towards satisfying both domestic and international demand for Tesla's electric cars.
