Reportedly, astronomers have revealed that the newfound planet possesses unique traits, being soft, flexible, and exceptionally lightweight. Identified as WASP-193b by scientists, it holds the distinction of being the lightest planet ever recorded. This planet, predominantly composed of hydrogen and helium gases, dwarfs Jupiter by 50% in size yet boasts an incredibly low density. While Jupiter's density measures at 1.33 grams per cubic centimeter and Earth's at 5051, this newfound celestial body clocks in at a mere 0.059 grams per cubic centimeter. To put it into perspective, this density is akin to that of cotton bales, which typically register at 0.05 grams per cubic centimeter.
Named WASP-193b, this planet completes one orbit in 6.25 Earth days.
