Patna High Court Acquits Nepal Team Leg-Spinner Sandeep Lamichhane of Rape Charges, Clearing Path for Cricket Career Resumption
The pathway has now cleared for Sandeep Lamichane to potentially join the national squad for the T20 World Cup.
In September of last year, a 17-year-old girl lodged a complaint against Sandeep, alleging rape in a Kathmandu hotel room. This decision came after his initial arrest and sentencing.
It's noteworthy that Sandeep Lamichane boasts experience in prominent cricket leagues such as the Pakistan Super League, Big Bash League, and Indian Premier League.
